We are working with a successful and growing engineering business in Leicester that is looking to appoint a hands-on Finance Manager to lead its day-to-day finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small team, taking ownership and getting involved across all areas of finance. You may already be operating as a Finance Manager, or you could be an experienced accountant who is ready to take the next step in your career.The RoleReporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the finance function across two businesses. Your responsibilities will include:Producing monthly management accounts and financial reportsManaging cash flow, treasury and bankingPreparing budgets and forecastsOverseeing payroll, VAT, PAYE, CIS and statutory complianceMaintaining strong balance-sheet controls and reconciliationsDeveloping useful financial KPIs and management informationProviding commercial analysis and insight to senior managementSupporting operational and project performanceImproving finance processes, systems and reportingManaging and developing an Accounts AssistantRemaining hands-on with day-to-day accounting tasksAbout YouWe are looking for a personable and proactive finance professional who is comfortable ..... full job details .....
