Finance ManagerLeicester £45,000 to £60,000 Permanent, Full Time, Office BasedAre you an experienced Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant looking for a broad, hands on finance role within an established SME?We are recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing business based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys combining team management, management accounting and financial control with the day to day running of a finance function.You will manage a small finance team and take responsibility for core finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end, stock, VAT, bank reconciliations and financial controls. The business is also going through a period of systems and process development, so there will be plenty of opportunity to improve how the finance function operates.The role will include:Managing and developing a small finance teamOverseeing accounts payable, purchase ledger, accounts receivable and sales ledgerSupporting the month end close and management accounting processBalance sheet, bank and cash book reconciliationsMonth end stock accounting and reconciliationVAT and wider tax complianceImproving financial controls, processes and reportingSupporting finance systems and process improvementsWorking with Excel and ERP systems to improve financial informationRemaining hands on with transactional finance where requiredAbout ..... full job details .....
