Finance ManagerStevenage £45,000 to £50,000 Permanent Office BasedWe are recruiting for an established and growing SME in the Stevenage area looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to take responsibility for its day-to-day finance function.This is a varied, hands-on opportunity where you ll work closely with senior management, oversee a small finance team and take responsibility for producing accurate and useful financial information to support the business.It would suit someone who enjoys the variety of an SME environment and is comfortable moving between management accounts, financial control and the practical day-to-day requirements of running a finance function.The role will involve:Preparing monthly management accounts and financial informationSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planningManaging month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliationsOverseeing VAT and CIS requirementsSupporting financial activity across more than one business entityMaintaining strong financial controls and accurate accounting recordsOverseeing transactional finance and supporting the wider finance teamLiaising with external professional advisers when requiredReviewing existing processes and identifying practical improvementsWorking closely with senior management as a key finance contactWe are particularly interested in speaking with experienced Finance Managers who have worked within construction or a related environment and have practical knowledge of CIS.You do not ..... full job details .....
