The organisation is going through a period of growth and development, with strong external stakeholder engagement and increasing focus on robust financial reporting and planning. You''ll be working closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of the finance function, and helping shape financial processes moving forward.The RoleYou''ll lead the day-to-day finance function, overseeing one team member and external providers (payroll, HR, etc.).This is a hands-on role but with a strong strategic element - ideal for someone who can balance doing the detail with stepping back to support wider organisational decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for financial management, reporting, and controlProduction of:Monthly management accountsBudgets and reforecastsRolling cashflow forecastsPreparing financial reports for senior leadership, trustees, and external stakeholdersSupporting annual reporting requirements (including charity/statutory submissions)Ownership of tax-related matters (e.g. VAT, Gift Aid where applicable)Monitoring restricted vs unrestricted funding and balance sheet integritySupporting funding applications with financial modelling and ..... full job details .....
