Finance Manager Location: Worksop Salary: £53,051 - £57,587 per annum plus £4000 market supplement Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full-time: 37 hours a week working Monday Friday Are you a finance professional looking for a development opportunity that offers broad exposure across a wide range of local government finance activities? Bassetlaw District Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to support the delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality finance service during an important period for local government. Working in a district council environment provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of finance responsibilities. The successful applicant will support both strategic and operational finance activity, gaining valuable insight into the breadth and complexity of financial management in a district setting. The role will support the Head of Finance and Property with the day-to-day management of the finance service, including financial management, reporting, budget preparation, annual closedown and the production of accounting statements. The role will also provide financial advice and support to a range of Council services, elected Members and external stakeholders, including external auditors.
