The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the company''s financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting, and compliance with legal standards. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of an innovative team.Key Responsibilities:Maintain general ledger to trial balance and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.Manage banking, including payments and bank reconciliations.Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including credit control.Manage weekly and monthly payroll processes.Support external audits, ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements.Analyse and report on trends (sales, margin and overheads).Monthly reporting and budgeting.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.Manage Inward Processing Relief process and reporting.Skills and Experience:Accountancy qualification (AAT minimum), or QBE.Proven experience in a similar role (ideally from an engineering or manufacturing background)Proficient in accounting and payroll software (currently use Access Supply Chain and Sage Payroll).Excellent Excel skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.If you are an experienced Finance Manager looking to further your career in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.
