Reporting to the MD / Owner, the Finance Manager / Company Accountant role will be responsible for all day to day and monthly accounting including: Daily bookkeeping on Sage Line 50 Processing purchase ledger invoices Bank reconciliations and cash flow management Raising sales ledger invoices, credit control, monitoring aged debtors Supplier statement reconciliations and payments runs Month-end procedures and reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments Processing monthly management accounts Inter-company reconciliations VAT and CIS returns Year-end preparation for external accountants Ad hoc responsibilities for the MD / Owner This is a hands-on Finance Manager / Company Accountant / Financial Controller role that needs an experienced accountant looking for a long-term local opportunity - 5 days a week in the office - at a friendly family-run business.
