to play a key role in building a best-in-class finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a career-defining opportunity to lead core accounting operations, optimise financial systems, and ensure robust compliance across the UK and US.Responsibilities

Month-End Close and ReportingLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entitiesDeliver accurate and timely financial statements under UK and US GAAPOversee general ledger operations including reconciliations, journals, and intercompany transactionsProduce detailed financial reports and variance analysisTechnical Accounting and ComplianceAct as the subject matter expert on accounting standards and internal policyManage external audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisersEnsure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance across jurisdictionsCash Flow ManagementManage invoicing and serve as the point of contact for customer finance queriesMonitor daily cash positions and flag any potential risksReconcile weekly payments and follow up on outstanding balances with stakeholdersSystems and Process OptimisationImprove and document scalable financial processesDrive the effective use of financial systems (Xero, AP, and Payroll platforms)Identify opportunities to automate and enhance accuracy and efficiencyQualifications

3-5 years of accounting experienceQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)Strong technical knowledge of UK and US GAAP, VAT, Corporation Tax, and PayrollProven experience managing audits, compliance, and month-end processesHands-on experience with Xero and ERP implementationsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsFamiliarity with AP, AR, and payroll platformsInterest in automation, technology, and process improvementThis is an opportunity to join a commercially sharp, high-performing team and shape the finance function of a company operating in one of the most exciting areas of modern ..... full job details .....
