Finance Manager - Nottingham We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations while playing a key role in supporting strategic business decisions.This is a hands-on position suited to someone who wants to go beyond traditional finance responsibilities and become a valued part of the wider business. The successful candidate will help drive performance, improve processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage accurate financial statements and reportsEnsure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirementsOversee month-end and year-end close processesAnalyse financial data to support strategic decision-makingIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives across the businessDevelop and maintain strong financial controls and processesSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesManage cash flow, forecasting, and working capitalMonitor project financials including cost control, margin analysis, and risk managementProvide guidance and support to junior finance team membersContinuously review and improve finance procedures and systems About You Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standardsPrevious experience within an SME or industry environmentAdvanced Excel skills and experience using financial systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to ..... full job details .....
