Financial Management Information Officer (Career Grade)12-month Fixed Term ContractLocation: BoltonSalary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hourWe are seeking an experienced Financial Management Information Officer to join a Local Authority Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the effective management of financial resources across the Directorate, providing accurate financial information, budget monitoring, and advice to service managers and budget holders.Key Responsibilities:Support the preparation and maintenance of budgets.Produce accurate budget monitoring reports and financial management information.Analyse financial data and provide insight to support decision-making.Work with budget holders to ensure effective use of resources and value for money.Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and final accounts preparation.Provide financial guidance and support to non-finance colleagues.Use Microsoft Excel and financial systems to analyse and present information.About You:You will have experience working in a finance environment, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues. You will ideally have:AAT qualification (full or part-qualified) or equivalent.Experience preparing financial reports and management information.Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills.Experience supporting budgets, forecasting, and financial monitoring.Local Authority experience and knowledge of ..... full job details .....
