Your new companyBath based businessYour new roleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Officer to join this client in central Bath. This is a key role supporting the smooth running of our finance function and wider organisational operations.Working closely with the senior leadership team, you''ll ensure strong financial processes are in place while also contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our day-to-day operations.Key ResponsibilitiesFinanceProcess purchase and sales invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely paymentsManage accounts payable and receivable processesAssist with monthly management accounts and financial reportingSupport budgeting and forecasting processesReconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flowAssist with year-end accounts and audit preparationOperationsSupport organisational systems and processes to ensure smooth operationsHelp manage contracts, suppliers, and operational recordsMaintain and improve internal procedures and documentationAssist with compliance requirements and reportingProvide general administrative support across teams as neededWhat you''ll need to succeedWe are looking for someone who is highly organised, reliable, and motivated to contribute to a mission-driven organisation.You will have:Experience in a finance or accounts roleStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, or similar)Strong Excel and data-handling skillsAbility ..... full job details .....
