The candidate is to ensure compliance with statutory requirements; enforce and satisfy both internal controls and external audit requirements and related policies and procedures.ABOUT YOUIdeally 2 years'' experience in a similar roleAdvantageous to have a hotel operation knowledgeExcellent knowledge of and experience with enforcing internal controls and associated policies and proceduresRequires knowledge of accounting and financeWorking knowledge of the major areas and the skill to integrate and communicate that informationPossess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionalsExcellent spreadsheet and word processing skills (Microsoft Office)Strong and confident personality coupled with the ability to work as part of a teamAnalytical and have the drive to initiate new ideas or plansAn organised and methodical approachA high level of accuracy and attention to detailVery good to excellent ability to interpret and report financial informationGood time management for meeting strict deadlinesKnowledge of and experience with SUN accountsELIGIBILITYIn line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, or be able to acquire such eligibility.
