Finance Director

Westcott House is seeking to appoint a full-time Finance Director to take up post in October 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. As a member of Senior Leadership, this is a dynamic role helping to lead the college in its strategic development and implementation, and in its delivery of exceptional theological education. The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and capable Finance Director to make a difference in a Christian charity with an open and inclusive ethos. The Finance Director is a member of the Senior Leadership of the college and has a pivotal role in ensuring its success. The Finance Director supports the Principal and Trustees in developing and implementing the strategy of the college, oversees and ensures excellent delivery of all financial operations, ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory structures applicable to the college, and ensures clear processes and robust controls are in place and adhered to consistently. Theological education in the Church of England has faced challenges in recent years, with a drop in numbers training for ministry. We are looking for a senior colleague who will be inspired by the opportunity to help us navigate the coming years on a secure financial footing, so we continue to deliver exceptional theological education for the Church.
