Finance Director

A growing MGA and insurance broking business that has recently secured investment is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its leadership team and support the next phase of its growth. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the board and investors, you will take ownership of the finance function, developing the financial infrastructure, controls and reporting capabilities required to scale the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with previous start-up experience to help shape the financial strategy of an ambitious insurance business following a significant investment milestone. Key Responsibilities Lead the finance function, establishing robust financial processes, systems and controls to support the business as it scales. Oversee management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, providing clear financial insight to the CEO, board and investors. Develop financial models, business plans and performance metrics to support growth strategy, investment decisions and profitability. Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors and external advisers, supporting ongoing investor reporting and future funding requirements. Provide commercial oversight of MGA and broking operations, including revenue, commission structures, underwriting performance and business profitability.
