Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in driving financial performance, business growth and operational excellence across our clients multi-site retail/distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, hands-on finance professional with a proven track record in scaling operations and supporting strategic growth initiatives.Day-to-Day of the Role:Strategic Finance Leadership: Partner with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute financial strategies that support profitable growth. Provide insights on site performance, market expansion, and pricing strategies.Multi-Site Operations and Performance Management: Oversee financial performance across 70+ locations, focusing on site profitability and efficiency. Implement standardised reporting and KPIs for performance comparison and improvement.Inventory and Supply Chain Finance: Develop inventory management strategies that balance availability, cash flow and risk. Implement robust stock valuation and provisioning procedures.Business Partnership and Commercial Insight: Act as a strategic business partner to operations, purchasing and sales teams.
