This Finance Director / Head of Finance role in Berkshire for a multi-sire business takes full responsibility for the finance function. Client Details Based in Berkshire, my client is a multi-site business and UK market leader. Description Strategic Financial Leadershipo Setting and executing a financial strategy in light with business objectives.o Providing leadership to your finance team and confidence in the numbers presented.o Establish annual budgets and assist in tracking against them.o Analyse, identify, and mitigate financial risks for the business. Commercial Business Partneringo Partner with the Operations, Finance, and Marketing directors to provide financial analysis and insights.o Work with senior leadership to identify areas for cost savings and efficiencies.o Provide financial modelling and scenario planning to the board for short and long-term decision making. Financial Analysiso Work on cashflow forecasting, the weekly PandL and the monthly management accounts to assist in strategic decision making for acquisitions, new store openings, and capital investment across the business.o Work with AI systems and our data platforms to automate delivery of reports, key insights and analysis direct to senior stakeholders. o Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (balance sheets and monthly management accounts) to adhere to banking covenants.
