The Director of Finance is responsible for leading and managing Better Society Capital''s Finance team, overseeing the processing of financial transactions and the delivery of high-standard, value-add financial information. The role ensures compliance with regulatory and corporate standards while driving financial excellence. The Finance Director reports to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO); the FD sits on the Senior Management team, acts as a trusted business partner to the Executive Committee, and interacts with BSC''s Board, the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee, external and internal auditors, and treasury managers.Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Finance team; ensure processing of financial transactions and delivery of high-standard financial information; ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards while driving financial excellence.Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, with extensive interface with the Board, Audit Risk and Compliance Committee, external and internal auditors, and treasury managers.Qualifications / Requirements
Strong fundamental investment accounting knowledge including experience of Private Markets valuation.Capability to ensure all financial responsibilities are discharged effectively.Passion for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving excellence and delivering service that delights.How to apply
