Finance Director

Our client is looking to appoint and experienced Finance Director who can take full ownership and accountability for the financial function of the business. This is a hands-on senior role within a growing construction company. The position requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and undertaking the day-to-day accounting, while also providing strategic financial direction to the business. Working for this small, fast paced team you will need to be: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Significant experience at Finance Director or Financial Controller level Strong experience within the construction industry Excellent technical accounting and financial control knowledge A proven hands on approach Support the company''s growth Responsibilities; Manage the day-to-day finance operation Produce monthly management accounts Manage year-end accounting Monitor the companies overall financial performance Cashflow and financial control Budgeting and forecasting Work closely with the Managing Directors Improve processes to make the finance function as efficient as possible Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant accounting and tax requirements Advising on any areas of sales or marketing ..... full job details .....
