We are seeking a Finance Data Migration Assistant to support the migration of financial data into a new Maconomy ERP system. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional to develop valuable systems implementation experience while working alongside an experienced finance team. The Role Reporting to the Head of Accounts, you''ll play a pivotal role in a key business project, helping ensure financial data is accurately migrated from a legacy finance system into Maconomy. Alongside project work, you''ll support day-to-day finance operations, providing a great balance of systems exposure and practical finance experience. Key Responsibilities Data Migration Extract, prepare and cleanse financial data for migration. Standardise formats, remove duplicates and resolve data inconsistencies. Prepare Excel import files and upload information into Maconomy. Reconcile balances between old and new systems. Investigate and resolve discrepancies. Perform validation checks to ensure data accuracy. Maintain clear records of reconciliations and testing completed.
