Finance Controller

Location: Bristol, BS15 Job Role: Finance ControllerHours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm and Friday 8.30am-4.00pmSalary: £40k-£45k per annum DOERole Type: Permanentgap personnel acting as an employment business are currently recruiting a Finance Controller for a manufacturing business, based in Bristol, BS15. As a Financial Controller, you will be working with our client s manufacturing facilities in the UK. As a controller, you will report directly to the management, and liaise closely with the company s Financial Controller and UK auditor(s), consultant and payroll team. You will work independently to a large extent. This position involves important tasks such as preparing the various monthly reports, preparing the year-end closing and preparing the file for the audit. You will also be involved in preparing and analysing financial reports.Responsibilities: To oversee all financial activities within the manufacturing businessSupport the finance team in managing day-to-day financial operationsEnsure accurate financial records, and helping maintain efficient financial processes to support production and business performancePrepare and analysing financial reportsPreparation of quarterly VAT returns and submission to HMRCMaintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standardsProduce monthly management accounts and financial reportsEnsure compliance with financial policies and proceduresLiaise with external accountants to assist with preparation of year ..... full job details .....
