Finance Controller

A leading developer of advanced optical, and optoelectronic technologies is now looking for a Finance / Business Controller to manage the UK operations, and report to the European Head Offices. Working closely with the UK Management and European Head Office, you will support the financial performance of the UK manufacturing. Partnering with the Sales, Production and Operations teams, you will improve profitability, strengthen business performance and drive operational excellence. You will provide financial insight, challenge business decisions with data, help optimise production efficiency and support sales growth. Acting as the finance business partner for Sales, Production, and Operations across the UK manufacturing with support from the European Head Office. As Finance Controller you will develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making; lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Working closely with plant management you will monitor productivity, capacity utilization, and cost drivers. And identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and cost performance. Supporting standardisation of financial processes and reporting across the companies, you will ensure accurate monthly reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary.
