Finance Business Partner ( Treasury and Development)

We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established North West-based housing organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner for its Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finanxe, this is a visible, hands-on role for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and turning complex information into clear, practical insight. You ll primarily partner with the Development team, while also playing a key role in treasury reporting, covenant monitoring and wider finance improvement projects. What you ll be doing Lead budgeting, forecasting, business planning and management reporting for Development and other designated teams. Work with budget holders to understand performance, explain variances and improve value for money. Review development cash flows and appraisals, support contractor due diligence and maintain fixed asset and grant records. Monitor daily and monthly cash flow, loan covenants and regulatory metrics, including quarterly lender and regulatory returns. Support month-end and year-end close, financial statements, audits and external reporting. Build financial models and provide constructive challenge to support confident, well-informed decisions. Contribute to finance systems development, process improvement and wider projects across the organisation.
