Strategic Business Lead - Lighting and EVLocation: Solihull (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite) Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract / Inside IR35 Salary: Up to 74,000 per annum (paid via Umbrella) Duration: 6 MonthsThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Lead to support the leadership team in evaluating strategic opportunities across the Lighting and Electric Vehicle (EV) sectors. This is a highly visible role, providing commercial insight, financial analysis, and business case development to support key decision-making and future growth initiatives.Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help identify value creation opportunities, evaluate business performance, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive commercial success.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess strategic opportunities across the Lighting and EV markets.Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to evaluate opportunities and risks.Support business planning activities and strategic reviews.Translate complex data and analysis into clear, concise recommendations for senior stakeholders.Evaluate the commercial viability of new opportunities and growth initiatives.Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and wider industry developments.Identify opportunities to improve business performance, profitability, and cash generation.Conduct targeted reviews of business processes and operational performance.Develop and support implementation plans for improvement ..... full job details .....
