The role is one day per week in the office and the organisation is far from stagnant.The role:You''ll own the full month-end process for your areas, support budget holders, prepare management information, and present findings to senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on business partnering role with scope to add more value over time.Key responsibilitiesLead month-end activity for assigned budget areasPrepare accruals, prepayments, management accounts, and reporting packsHold budget review meetings with operational stakeholdersPresent monthly results and insights to senior leadersSupport budget setting and forecastingAnalyse variances, identify trends, and highlight risks earlyContribute to wider financial planning and operational decision-makingThe successful candidate:Qualified accountant or qualified by strong experienceProven finance business partnering or management accounting backgroundStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to non-finance stakeholdersAble to spot patterns, flag risks, and connect financial information across the businessThe role offers genuinely development and the opportunity to help a finance function evolve.
