Finance Business Partner

About The Role

RAC is looking for a finance business partner with an analytical, commercially focused mindset to drive performance and insight across the Group. This high-impact role offers visibility across the business with a focus on strategic planning, ESG reporting, and investor relations. You’ll report into the Head of Group FPandA and work closely with the Head of Corporate Finance and other key stakeholders, supporting processes such as weekly trade reporting, monthly reporting, financial planning, and external market analysis. What You’ll Be Doing

Produce weekly trade reports, monthly project reporting, and monthly/quarterly KPIs, challenging divisional teams to ensure robust insightDeliver performance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunitiesSupport the 5-year planning process aligned with group strategy, including PandL, KPIs, and cash forecastingLead scenario planning and impact assessments for ESG and sustainability reportingProvide external market insight through competitor and peer performance analysisSupport ad hoc projects requiring financial modelling and strategic appraisal

What You’ll Bring

Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with post-qualification experienceStrong financial control, analytical, and modelling skillsExperience in commercial environments and board-level reportingExcellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skillsHands-on approach with strong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to assimilate information and make decisions quicklyAbility to juggle multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines

Location and Salary

Based at our Bescot office with hybrid working options (Tuesday and Wednesday in office, other three days remote). Competitive salary and benefits package.
