You will be working within the finance team of an exciting and high-growth business that is looking to build out its FPandA function to support the next phase of growth. In this role you will take responsibility for the PandL performance of some of our products, engaging with senior stakeholders to help them understand performance and develop their financial forecasts. You will also be a key element of decision support activities, helping business leaders understand the financial implications of strategies and decisions. You will inform and challenge business leaders on their performance against budget and support them to hit their targets.Ownership of the PandL forecasting for the business including supporting the development and further implementation of our new forecasting platformPartnership with teams and leaders across the business to build PandL forecasts, LTV models and other value-driver analysisOwnership of finance MI including redesigning existing MI, automating processes and driving efficienciesProvide ad hoc analysis for the senior leaders, Board and other internal and external stakeholdersSupporting business departments to create business cases for new initiatives and strategiesWork closely with various business units to help them understand their performanceDevelopment and improvement of analytics and processes: automating processes and controlsQualifications
Very strong financial analysis and accounting skillsExtensive modelling experience either within an FPandA or advisory roleKnowledge or experience of insuranceStrong commercial acumenStrong analytical thinking and problem solvingA desire to innovate and introduce innovative ideas that will benefit the businessKnowledge and experience in working with large data setsStrong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressureAccomplished influencer with good experience at communicating findingsStrong business partnering skills. Promote collaboration with business functionsACA/ACCA/CIMA with 1-2 years post-qualification experienceDesirable
