Finance Business Partner

I am recruiting for a local authority who are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide financial advice and challenge to senior managers and budget holders. The role will be for 6-12 months and is paying up to -500 p/day.

Key responsibilities:

• Business partner with senior stakeholders and service leads.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly management accounts.
• Provide financial analysis, modelling and commercial insight.
• Monitor budgets, variances, risks and savings programmes.
• Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Strong Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant experience.
• Previous local authority/public sector experience highly desirable.
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder-management skills.
• Qualified accountant or significant equivalent experience.
