Bicester Scaling SME Our Client Mackie Myers have partnered with a scaling SME retail business in Bicester to appoint a Finance Business Partner into their expanding finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during a period of growth and play a key role in supporting operational and commercial decision-making. The Role The Finance Business Partner is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams. Built on a technically strong accounting foundation, this role combines core management accounting responsibilities with commercial finance and stakeholder engagement, providing meaningful financial insight to support decision-making, drive performance improvements and support the business''s continued growth. Main Duties Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and performance commentary. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making. Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across key business functions. Analyse sales, margin, stock and operational KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities. Support business leaders with financial modelling and commercial analysis. Challenge and support budget holders to improve profitability and cost control. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate key PandL variances. ..... full job details .....
