The Opportunity

A growing, commercially driven business is looking for a qualified Finance Business Partner to provide insightful financial support across operational and commercial teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and driving business performance through meaningful analysis and recommendations.

Working closely with Operations, Marketing and wider business functions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting profitability, investment decisions and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide timely financial insight and actionable recommendations.
• Lead and support profit assessments for business improvements and conversion projects.
• Develop, manage and review budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Deliver financial analysis to support acquisitions, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and challenge performance across operational sites, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Produce and enhance performance dashboards and management reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support commercial decision-making and operational improvements.
• Support project and trial evaluations, including financial modelling and performance tracking.
• Drive cost control and sales growth initiatives through insightful analysis.
• Contribute to executive and board-level reporting.
• Act as a key finance contact for operational teams, building strong working relationships across the business.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting, controls and finance processes.
• Mentor and support junior members of the finance team where appropriate.

• Performance and trend reporting
• P&L and capital investment modelling
• ROI analysis and investment tracking
• Executive and board reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting
• Periodic results presentations to operational stakeholders

About You

You will be a commercially focused finance professional who can translate complex financial data into clear business insight. You''ll be confident influencing stakeholders, challenging assumptions constructively and building strong relationships across a business.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
• Proven business partnering experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling experience
• Experience working with large and complex data sets
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Experience with reporting tools and finance systems
• Coaching and mentoring capability is advantageous
