Salary: £43,803 - £53,537
Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Business Partner to join their General Insurance (GI) Finance team in Leeds. This role offers exposure to Home, Motor, Pet, and a new Health insurance product, with opportunities to influence commercial strategy, engage with senior leaders, and contribute to key business decisions. The position provides a collaborative environment with strong career progression and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end reporting packs and provide insightful analysis for senior leadership.
- Engage with GI commercial teams to deliver plans and forecasts, ensuring ambitious but achievable targets.
- Provide finance expertise on GI & Finance projects and ad hoc data analysis.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, stakeholders, and internal customers.
- Support product launches and evaluate pricing, products, and propositions using financial models.
- Review partner contracts, commercial terms, and contribute to tenders and negotiations.
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ICAEW) with business partnering experience.
- Strong analytical, numeracy, and commercial awareness skills.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge; understanding of finance systems and processes.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
