Finance Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Business Partner to provide high-quality financial insight, support and reporting across key curriculum areas, enabling the organisation to make informed, strategic decisions.

Role Responsibilities
- Partner with budget holders to provide advice, information and proactive support that improves financial performance, control and effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including in-year forecasts, accounting adjustments, pay forecasts and capital spend tracking, with clear commentary.
- Contribute to the budget and 3-year Financial Plan, managing income and expenditure budgets and understanding curriculum plans for allocated areas.
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
- Work closely with the Head of Financial Planning, Partnering and Reporting to ensure compliance with financial controls and processes.
Essential Requirements
- CCAB/CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in financial control, compliance, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Skilled in budget preparation, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex financial data to non-financial colleagues.
- Customer-focused approach, building strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
