Salary: £65,000 – £67,000
Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in our Rochdale office
Are you a qualified accountant with strong commercial experience and a passion for partnering with the business to drive performance?
We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our high-performing finance team and provide commercial insight that influences decision-making at the highest level.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Finance and work as a key decision support partner to operational leads and BI teams — helping shape strategy, improve financial performance, and deliver meaningful change.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the internal and external financial business partner — translating numbers into clear, actionable insight.
- Interpret and articulate financial results, trends, and variances against plan.
- Identify and embed new ways of presenting analytical outcomes that drive performance, including developing financial KPIs.
- Work with FP&A to strengthen the planning cycle and outputs.
- Assess new opportunities alongside the Business Development team.
- Track initiatives, synergies, risks, and opportunities vs. budget and forecast.
- Provide deep-dive analysis and financial modelling to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead your team of two staff while influencing senior stakeholders across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (essential) with strong commercial awareness.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly numerate and analytical with advanced Excel skills.
- Confident communicator able to present complex financial information in clear business language.
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment and influencing senior decision makers.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and TM1(Desirable).
