Finance Business Partner
to join our Corporate Commercial Finance Team supporting the commercial team with some of our biggest customers.Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this is a key role that will support our Commercial Account Managers in managing existing customers. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance and Commercial to provide insight and analysis for strategic planning and decision making. Your responsibilities will include forecasting, customer reports, and monthly review packs providing accurate insights.We offer a hybrid working contract involving at least one day per week in the Ashford office and ad-hoc face-to-face meetings as required.AccountabilitiesWeekly/Monthly forecasting and variance analysisEnsuring timely completion of the month-end processPreparation of Financial EvaluationsEnsuring customer-facing reports are accurate and timelyManaging customer contracts to ensure trading aligns with Key Business AssumptionsProviding financial insights to Customer Account Managers for better performance understandingManaging customer rebate contractsPreparing Balance SheetsSupporting the production and presentation of Business Unit Review PacksActing as a central point of contact for internal and external customersDriving continuous improvement initiativesSupporting the Senior Finance Business Partner and stepping in when neededKnowledge, Skills and CompetenciesIdeally, you’ll be a recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) currently working as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Finance Analyst. Finalists with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. You should have the confidence to interpret trends and results, strong Excel skills including financial analysis and modelling, and a desire to work within a commercial setting to broaden your finance business partnering skills.
