We are expanding our Finance Business Partner team and are hiring for a role that will be the go-to person for all cost-related activities, partnering with budget owners across Delivery, Product Engineering and central functions (HR, Finance, Legal, etc.). You will work closely with budget owners to ensure we’re investing wisely and operating efficiently.Responsibilities
Partner with teams to understand how and where we’re spending and how we can improve cost efficiency.Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for OpEx, headcount, and overheads.Build cost models and work on key metrics like gross margin.Spot risks and opportunities in the numbers and communicate them to stakeholders.Help teams build business cases for investment or new tooling and provide challenging yet supportive finance input.Create dashboards and reports that are useful and actionable.Collaborate with procurement and operations to ensure cost efficiency as we scale.What we’re looking for
Proven commercial finance experience (accountancy qualification is a nice-to-have).Experience working within a global business.Business partner mindset, working strategically with the Exec team and their reports to understand needs and advise on how to achieve goals.Experience in a high-growth tech/SaaS business, with understanding of how finance can add value to decisions.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with systems like Anaplan and NetSuite.Adaptability to significant changes in responsibilities and organization; ability to embrace change as an opportunity for growth.Strong communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences and provide constructive feedback.Commercial acumen to analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform business decisions.Critical thinking to synthesize information and develop strategic solutions; anticipate challenges and opportunities.Influence across cross-functional teams without formal authority.Risk management skills to assess and mitigate risks.Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
