The Finance Assistant will support the accounting and finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting. This role is essential within the frozen food distribution industry, ensuring financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. This opportunity supports the financial operations of the company by performing a variety of administrative and financial tasks involving the Purchase and Sales Ledger and Bank. A Finance Assistant is a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, thereby contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. Description Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations. Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies. Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding payment queries and account statements. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies. Ensuring Sales Invoices are posted daily. Ensuring that all Purchase Invoices have been mapped correctly, duly authorised, checked, posted, and ready for payment. Post Payments on an ERP system. Weekly Payment Runs Run and maintain Aged Creditors Report. Post Customers receipts and allocate accordingly. Debt Collection. Manage customer interactions, resolve ..... full job details .....
