      <description>Location: Guildford | Salary: 11697.60-11697.60 Annual | Type: Permanent | Applications are invited for the post of Finance Assistant with the Daphne Jackson Trust. This is a part time role in a small but growing charity that offers fellowships for people to return to research after a career break taken for a family, health or caring reason. The role of Finance Assistant is based in the Daphne Jackson Trust office in the School of Maths and Physics at the University of Surrey, Guildford. The post is offered on a 0.4 FTE to 0.6 FTE basis and the salary will be £30,414 pro rata. The Finance Assistant will work alongside, and be supervised by, the Finance Officer to provide day to day financial accounting and general financial administration that may involve payroll, pension and assistance to the Chief Executive, Trust Manager and other colleagues when required.  Applicants for this post must be friendly and approachable, efficient, methodical with excellent attention to detail and an ability to show initiative.
