Finance Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team based in Pershore. The role will be primarily focused on invoicing, but will also involve a range of other finance and administrative duties, making this a great opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who enjoys a varied role. Key Responsibilities Processing and raising invoices accurately and efficiently. Checking invoices and supporting documentation before processing. Investigating and resolving invoicing queries. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring information is kept up to date. Assisting with reconciliations and other routine finance duties. Supporting the wider Finance team with day-to-day tasks. Responding to internal and external finance queries. Assisting with month-end activities where required. Providing general administrative support to the Finance function. Completing ad hoc finance duties as required. About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment. Good experience of invoicing. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good numerical skills. Experience using Excel and finance/accounting systems. Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills. A proactive and reliable approach to work.
