Finance Assistant

Location: Near KeighleyHours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (Office-Based)Salary: £27,000 - £28000 dependent on experience Reed Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing family-run business based near Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a friendly and close-knit team in a varied role, supporting both the purchase ledger function and wider finance activities. The Role Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger and supplier accounts whilst also providing support across credit control, credit administration and general finance duties. This is a hands-on position that would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy and is keen to be part of a small, supportive team. Key Responsibilities Processing and matching supplier invoices. Managing supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving account queries. Assisting with supplier payment runs. Supporting credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and chasing overdue payments.
