Finance Assistant

Reed Finance are working with a leading organisation in Portlethen to welcome a Finance Assistant to their growing finance team.This role is ideal for an organised individual with strong numerical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Key responsibilities will include:Processing purchase invoices and supplier paymentsReconciling bank statements and supplier accountsAssisting with monthly management accounts preparationAssisting with VAT returns and other finance compliance tasksMonitoring purchase orders and supporting cost tracking across projectsProviding general administrative support to the finance teamSupporting audits and year-end accounting activitiesWe are looking to speak with candidates who have experience in a finance/accounts role, with a good understanding of basic accounting principles, along with an AAT qualification (or who are currently studying towards an accounting qualification).Apply today for a confidential ..... full job details .....
