Finance Assistant

Orka Financial is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established organisation based in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their finance career who would like to broaden their commercial experience. Working alongside both finance and operational colleagues, you will help provide accurate financial information relating to a range of business projects. The position offers exposure to management reporting, billing, budgeting and financial planning. You will be encouraged to develop your knowledge and take on greater responsibility as your experience grows. Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial information Reviewing performance against budgets and helping explain any differences Monitoring project income and expenditure Checking that customer billing reflects the relevant commercial arrangements Supporting the preparation and processing of invoices Working with colleagues to improve the accuracy of financial forecasts Producing analysis to support budgeting and business planning Maintaining accurate information within the company''s finance and reporting systems Experience Previous experience within an accounts position Strong numerical and analytical ability Confidence using Microsoft Excel Organised and methodical approach A positive attitude and genuine interest in developing a career in finance This role would suit an ambitious Finance Assistant looking for broader commercial exposure, ..... full job details .....
