Finance Assistant

This role offers exposure across the full transactional finance function and is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in a fast-paced and supportive environment.The RoleAs the Finance Assistant you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day finance operations. Working closely with the wider team, you will gain exposure across both sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and month-end processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing sales invoices and managing customer accounts, including cash allocation and chasing outstanding paymentsHandling purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing, supplier payments and statement reconciliationsInvestigating and resolving invoice and payment queries with both internal teams and suppliersCompleting regular bank reconciliations and posting transactions accuratelySupporting month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliationsAssisting with audit preparation and maintaining accurate documentationProviding general finance support and contributing to process improvementsThe PersonPrevious experience in a Finance Assistant or similar transactional finance roleStrong understanding of accounts payable and/or receivableExperience with bank reconciliationsWorking knowledge of ..... full job details .....
