Temporary Finance AssistantLocation: FolkestoneHours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, 4-5 days per weekDuration: Temporary until the end of August (with the possibility of an extension)Hourly Rate: 14.50We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team, providing short-term cover until the end of August. There is the potential for the assignment to be extended.This is a varied transactional finance role, ideal for someone with previous accounts experience who is available to start at short notice.Key responsibilities:Purchase order and invoice processingRaising sales ledger invoicesCredit card reconciliationsPreparing supplier payment runsInputting cash book payments and receiptsCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsProviding general finance and administrative support as requiredAbout you:Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping roleGood understanding of purchase ledger and sales ledger processesExperience of reconciliations and cash book processingStrong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracyConfident IT skills, including Microsoft ExcelAble to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlinesThis is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team in a hands-on finance role.
