This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support accounting and finance operations efficiently.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established and known for their strong presence and commitment to delivering excellence in their field.DescriptionAssist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.Process invoices, payments, and expenses in accordance with company policies.Process supplier invoices and credits to the accounting systemGenerate a weekly payment run for all suppliers (including foreign currency)Maintain accurate and organised financial documentation registering new suppliersPerform purchase ledger reconciliations between supplier accounts and statements ProfileA successful Finance Assistant should have:A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.Good understanding of VAT (including reverse charges) (essential)Accustomed to working with and interpreting data (essential)IT skills - highly proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and accounting packages.
