The Finance Assistant role involves providing essential support to the accounting and finance department, ensuring smooth financial operations. This temporary position is based in Bexleyheath and requires strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Client DetailsThis opportunity is with a small-sized organisation within the manufacturing sector, known for its focus on delivering high-quality services to its customers. The company values precision and efficiency within its accounting and finance functions.DescriptionProcess supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval in line with company policy.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Prepare payment runs (BACS/cheques) and ensure suppliers are paid within agreed terms.Maintain accurate and up-to-date AP ledgers.Raise and issue customer invoices for service, installation, and maintenance contracts.Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.Chase outstanding debts professionally, maintaining good client relationships.Provide monthly AR ageing reports to management.Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash processing.Support month-end close, including accruals and journal postings and supporting the wider accountancy department ProfileThe successful Finance Assistant will be on short notice and have experience in the aboveJob OfferFinance AssistantSalary 26k- 30kOpportunity to gain experience in a manufacturing ..... full job details .....
