This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role with variety within a fast-paced and supportive environment, gaining exposure across a wide range of finance processes.The successful candidate will have around 2 to 3 years'' experience within a finance role and may be studying towards AAT Level 2 or 3, with a desire to continue progressing professionally. Previous experience across purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control will be essential.Key tasks and responsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices and maintain an accurate purchase ledgerRaise purchase orders and reconcile supplier statementsPrepare and process weekly and monthly supplier payment runsRaise sales invoices across various billing cyclesCarry out credit control activities and manage customer accountsAllocate incoming payments and process receipts accuratelySupport monthly Direct Debit runsComplete daily bank reconciliationsManage shared finance inboxes and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist with system administration across finance platformsProvide general administrative support, including handling post and callsSupport payroll reconciliations and wider finance team requirementsAssist with ad hoc duties and provide cover during periods of absenceQualifications and experiencePrevious experience within an Accounts Assistant or Finance ..... full job details .....
