Finance Assistant

Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well-established organisation based close to Cobham who are looking to hire a Finance Assistant, initially on a 3 month temporary basis. This role has the potential to become permanent.Please be advised, due to the location, you need to be a driver to be considered for the post. Onsite parking in provided.You will be working as part of a busy accounts team, assisting the Finance Manager, working closely with colleagues and with departments across the organisation.Key Responsibilities: Perform daily bank reconciliations in order to identify missing transactions and spot potential accounting mistakes Timely issuing of sales invoices to build strong customer relationships and assist with cashflow Set up of new customers and suppliers, ensuring all records are accurate and complete Monitoring the financial control inbox and responding to queries within an agreed timeframe Preparation of aged debtor reports to send to the organisation to ensure recovery of debt Assisting with month end finance processes and reporting You will need to have strong communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high-attention to detail.This is a hybrid role, but you will be expected to be office based for the first few weeks whilst you get up to speed. ..... full job details .....
