Finance Assistant

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a growing business in Prudhoe on the appointment of an Finance Assistant. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the wider finance team across multiple entities, following a period of growth and acquisition.The role offers exposure across transactional finance, with involvement in both ledgers, cash management and credit control, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience within a busy and evolving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cash book, including daily postings and bank reconciliationsSupport sales ledger activities, including reconciliations and reportingProcess purchase invoices, manage balances and assist with payment runsCarry out credit control, monitoring outstanding debt and supporting recovery actionsPerform monthly account reconciliationsProcess expenses, petty cash and company credit card transactionsRespond to incoming finance queries and support internal stakeholdersAssist with ad-hoc duties to support the wider finance teamAbout YouPrevious experience in a finance or accounts assistant roleGood understanding of sales and purchase ledger processesStrong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems (SAP advantageous)Highly organised with strong attention to detailProactive, team-focused and able to manage your own workloadAAT (or studying) desirableOfferingPermanent, full-time positionOpportunity to join a growing business following acquisition activityBroad, hands-on ..... full job details .....
