Finance Assistant

Our client is a well-established and growing business looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of a Finance Assistant. This role will support the Finance Manager across a range of transactional finance activities whilst working within a collaborative and supportive finance team based in Harrogate. We feel this role would suit an engaging individual at the early stages of their finance career who is looking to develop their skills within a successful and expanding organisation. Main duties of the role:Bank reconciliationsLedger reconciliations across multiple entities and accountsAccounts payable including invoice processing, statement reconciliations and payment runsPreparing payroll schedulesProcessing intercompany transactionsSupplier statement reviewsEnsuring the accuracy of financial transactions, charges and account balancesAssisting with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and reportingProducing reports for internal review and analysisSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus benefits IPS Finance has over 40 years'' experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
