A hotel in the heart of London is looking for a temporary finance assistant to join their team. Your new company You will be working for a prestigious hotel in London as a Finance Assistant/Income Auditor on a 4-month placement.Your new role In this role within our London-based hotel group, your responsibilities will include:Comparing daily revenue with the Point of Sales (POS) system, creating and sharing daily reports with relevant partiesRecording daily Paypoint Payments on the Property Management System (PMS) and performing necessary reconciliationsReconciling and allocating all credit card postings on PMS against received payments, investigating discrepancies, and making required adjustmentsWeekly reconciliation and merging of Operational packs, ensuring compliance with Internal Audit standardsResponding to guest enquiries within a 24-hour timeframeVerifying the accuracy of voucher postings in the PMS and ensuring they match the received payments in terms of validity and amountProcessing refunds and allowances, while ensuring that adjustments are correctly authorised and in line with company policyConducting weekly reconciliation of Room Charges for outsourced Outlets, identifying discrepancies, and resolving variancesAssisting with Month End journalsUndertaking additional tasks as directed by the Accounts Receivable and Income Audit Leader or Finance ManagerAdhering to fire, health, and safety regulations and following the correct procedures in emergency ..... full job details .....
