Finance Assistant
A growing, Private Equity backed business in Denton is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join its busy finance team. This role will offer broad exposure across a range of finance functions, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skillset. However, the primary focus will be within Sales Ledger and Accounts Receivable, making it ideal for someone looking to build upon existing experience in this area.The RoleWorking closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, you''ll be responsible for a variety of finance and administration duties, including:Processing customer paymentsAllocating cash receipts and credit notesInvestigating payment queriesProducing monthly credit reportsManaging the accounts inboxIssuing customer correspondence and reminder lettersMaintaining accurate electronic recordsSupporting accounts receivable activitiesHandling incoming calls and finance-related enquiriesAssisting with additional finance tasks as requiredAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Strong numerical and analytical skillsetExcellent attention to detailGood communication skillsStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft OfficeThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience within a finance, accounts receivable, credit control or finance administration role would be advantageous.Benefitsc£27,000 basic salary24 days holiday plus bank holidaysAdditional holiday entitlement for long serviceBuy additional holiday schemeStaff ..... full job details .....
